Most technicians only regularly use about 30% to 40% of the Cat factory manual. We have decided to give you a choice. You can purchase only the sections you need (and save money) or you can still buy the entire shop manual. Either way you are getting factory manuals. Caterpillar engine serial numbers are critical for ordering the correct manual. You'll notice that we have placed the the first 3 digits of each of the Cat manuals serial numbers with each manual. This is to assist you in ordering the proper manual. Sometimes the engine difference is minor from one serial number to another but it helps to be safe and have the correct serial number.
